Isak, I mentioned an idea previously, and the main reason I said start after the main quest was because it would kinda make more sense(In my opinion anyway)

As after the main quest, you are promoted to the Champion of Cyrodill, the highest rank in the order of the Dragon...

Order of the Dragon being an order of knights founded by Tiber Septim himself...

So I was thinking being the Champion of Cyrodill you have knights to command as you personal army...and as you have mentioned above you want the blades dragonscale armor right?

So why dont we use the armor and just retex it? and mess around with it a bit, so then we can use it for the Order of the Dragon...

Another thing, if its played after the main quest it will make more sense and I think it will be more lore friendly...

Because the cities ally with each other against the common enemy (Mythic Dawn) in the main quest...

so if we do it after the main quest the cities become paranoid due to no emperor and whats going to happen to the empire and who will be in line for the throne etc.,

and then the civil war starts...

Thats what I think anyway...

Also the order of the Dragon kinda serves the empire as a whole, so they would probably want to stop the civil war...

so instead of signing up for a bunch of different armies(which will take a !@@@load of AI and work), just make one for the order of the dragon.

Plus being the leader of the order of the dragon you are in complete control...instead of answering to a count...

Chancellor Ocato is too busy sorting out diplomatic relations with all of the cities so you are left as high general...makes sense...IMO anyway

Edit:Also what will happen in the end?...If you sign up for the colovians or the other factions what happens when its over?

they cant take over the empire...that is nowhere near lore friendly...

your right it makes much more sense... and thats a good idea about the armor... but with the later edit "Also what will happen in the end?...If you sign up for the colovians or the other factions what happens when its over? they cant take over the empire...that is nowhere near lore friendly..."

did you mean my idea of choosing what faction you want to join?

Edit: if someone mind can i start making the Legion faction you get high general for (as Scorch621 mentioned) so i make a HQ where you they ask you for joining...

Right Screenies!

:D

Skingrad:

Ignore the fire! >.> It was just me testing something. :L

Also note; I didn't make this armor, it's from LHammonds and Jerros's Lost Paladins of the Divines!

Chorrol:

Toolbelts didn't show up, but the bag did. I quite like it. (:

Leyawin:

The boot's went a bit wrong... 'Cause their a glass boot retexture, they still have the shiny-ness. I'll get rid of that. ;)

Player Army / Imperial Army:

http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt91/DanielJ97/Oblivion2011-01-0218-20-59-04.png

Has two ranks Squire and Knight. Seperate armour for both.

Bruma:

Bravil:

I'm most proud of this one tbh. Every bit of armour, has a bloody stain and mud stain. Tbh up close it looks quite smart.

(:

Sorry for double post...a lot has happened since this morning and Ive only just logged on...only getting to otherp ages now...

Okay for skingrad

Try use steel armor for the cuirass, retex black or dull metal...then add the skingrad emblem if possible...

same for shield if possible use a helmet like the ones in knights armory

that was the pic Ive drawn...will upload soon once im done...

For bravil try use textures in...I think it OOO or MMM, but it gives rusty texture on the chainmail...might make your life easier...

Leyawin...leather boots might work better...and you could just retex them to make them look dull and worn...

if you could add patches to the cuirass, that would really help the worn look...

and a hood...the tattered robe hood, but slightly stained will be perfect for that look...

Ill also design the emblems for colovia and the other factions...based on the location, wildlife and wealth...My Characters a ranger so Ive seen a bit of stuff in the game, but ill go do more searching...

as for the Order of the Dragon armor...

I tried looking for something to do with blades armor, somewhere along the colour scheme i said...

and I found something perfect...

Take a look at the screenies of this mod..

Sorry didnt see this...whoops...

Yes i meant what action you want to join...

What I meant was that your character IS the high General of the order of the Dragon...(being the champion)

so instead of joining any faction you want(which could get confusing), you could be in command of an entire legion of knights etc.

Gives the champion more than just a title to command you know?
