Building a Stairway to Heaven

I got sufficiently high to jump onto the first ledge...where I met a fate similar to the Mage of Seyda Neen.

"They laughed at me when I suggested this. We'll see who laughs after I leap to the top of their towers and scream out my success."

Note: I had intended to use the long sack mesh, not the round one. This has been fixed.

Well sadly the White Gold Tower has no upper external existence in game - so standing on it will get you the elevator down at fatal speed. If you like climbing it is quite interesting to do it in all cities. The view of what exists below is very different from what you find in game. That is why no fly/levitate is possible.

Exactly. I tried it about 1 month ago (using tcl) , and I suffered that fate. The view was ok, however the cell in wich you where located looked best. Since the other ones wherent loaded, they looked pixelish, and sometimes things where missing.

But maybe you can add collision boxes atop of White Gold Tower?

I knew what I was going to see when I saw "building a Stairway to Heaven".. ;)

You are making a "Pillow fort"ish mod? I'll release the MW version today I think...

Awesome! Now If you excuse me, I'm lacking behind. There is a FULL page with unread threads in the modifications section

  • 1 month later...

I managed it with the ol paintbrush trick. Luckily they dupe pretty easily.

Since there was no colission on the upper surface of the tower, i just built some paintbrush gantrys to enjoy the odd view. I think next time i try this, ill do it from outside the imperial city cell so the view will be nicer.
