Hello everybody,

 

this is my first post on the Nexus forum, but i've been using the mods provided for quite some time.

Having looked through the database, both searching and browsing, i've had a few item's which i would really like to see in the game.

 

Maybe you can use this for your inspiration, and if not...well you atleast let me spill my story.

 

Items of particular intrest:

- T-51b Brotherhood of Steel Power Armor.

- Merc Veteran (gas/enviroment)mask

- AER12 Laser rifle

- Normal skin for the Plasma rifle

- Enclave Powerfist

- Intigrated Powerfist

 

The T-51b can be seen in many mods, but all seem to be a bit out of order to me. As others have stated: if the Bortherhood found Liberty Prime at the Pentagon, why not a few suits of T-51b Power Armor.

My idea of this armor would be the T-51b in plain Brotherhood colors, being blue-ish(with appropiate marking and logo's). However, when it comes down to equipping soldiers with them, my guess is there aren't to many suits just lying around. And i''ve downloaded the extra chest decal on the Lyons Pride armor(which is awesome) So why not equip the highest ranking military member with a suit of T-51b, Star Paladin Cross(the rest is stowed away or being researched). This would also give player acces to it by making her join you. It would also let it out of the main flow of the game...keeping the appropriate quests(shoot 'em in the head and achorage) intresting.

 

The Merc Veteran outfit is different from the Cruiser outfit because it has a sort of mask and some extra gear...why not make this mask wearable? it could give rad resistance, extra AP...or hell, it could even let you breath under water! This seem pretty reasonable and cool/stylish.

 

It is common knowlegde that the AER12 Laser rifle was the more sufficticated and powerfull version of the Laser rifle. Why can't they be found in the Wasteland? not even in military safes or armouries. I've seen a mod with this weapon, but it changed the looks in a wrong way, to my oppinion. The weapon was more vulnerable and fragile then the AER9, that's why any surviving model would be in a container/case for preservation and protection. It would also look identical to the AER9(becuase even the experimental AER14 from New Vegas looks the same)but clean and stainless(due to the preservation). As for power. It should be more powerfull, but also detetiorate much faster. maybe a more efficient power management(larger 'clip'). Perhaps it's even possible this way a full-auto version of the weapon, but it should still have a pretty slow fire rate compared to any other full-auto weapon.

 

Is it just me or do all plasma rifles(and pistols for that matter) look like they are prototypes? I can understand why A3-21's Plasma Rifle looks this way, but the ones produced by the Enclave? They have the resources and capability to fabricate whole suits of power armor and Vertibirds, but cant create a normal casing for the plasma rifle. So i suggest a normal version of the Plasma weapons (like the laserrifle, it looks like it's truly finished and (was)mass prodoced)

Make it look like a rifle and not a piece of junk just welded together

 

The standard powerfist is a near perfect match for a suit of BoS powerarmor and suits the logic that don't have the mobility to wield a combat knife or something similar. I wonder why a powerfist isn't a standard issue piece of equipment for the BoS armor.Melee specialist could use a Super Sledge, but the normal soldier would have his melee weapon on his arm.

 

This brings me to the Enclave variant. the powerfist suits the BoS armor but not the black Enclave version. Why don't the Enclave have a powerfist version...black and more advanced/styilsh. Tesla troopers could even have an electified or/and bladed version.

 

 

I hope this can serve as an inspiration or idea for some good mods, cause i love them so far.
