Hello,

 

I want to change a little the level up system.

 

Instead you get one perk every two level and skill points, each level you get two perks BUT no more free skill points.

To get skill points, you should just select the perk [skill points] which grant you SMART + 4 skills points.

 

Why doing that ?

 

This way, you can just developp skills if you want to focus on skill developpment or on the opposite focus on SPECIAL developpment/perk developpmetn.

I was inspired by tabletop rpg where you're sometimes totally free of how you developp you're character's stats.

 

The second part of my project change the intense training system and change that for a serie of perks on this model

 

Improve your Endurance to 2

Need : any skill linked with Endurance > 20

 

Improve your Endurance to 3

Need : endurance 2, any skill linked with Endurance > 30

 

Improve your Endurance to 4

Need : endurance 3, any skill linked with Endurance > 40

 

 

My main problem is that I don't know how to script. I need some tips to begin script and how script that.

sounds like it could be a fun alternative, while still keeping balance. Wish I could help ya out, but I have no idea how to create some of those scripts.

 

I suppose one could reverse engineer one of the mods that change the perk gaining system to learn how to alter what you're wanting perk and skill wise. And it'd be easy enough to edit Intense Training to facilitate what you want, splitting it into 7 different intense trainings.

 

I think you'd need to add a few more traits in the beginning of the game to highlight certain types of skills for your character too.

 

Hope someone with a little more scripting know-how picks this up for you, it'd be fun to try it out in game!
