Deadly Reflex 5, Spell Criticals

Mod seems to work fine, but i never can get the spells to crit with deep freeze, burn etc

 

Anyone have a clue why or am I just unlucky

Well, if you have a low luck it's bound to not happen a lot :P

 

Anyways, try throwing torches at them. That usually sets them on fire for me. I rarely get shock crits, and freezing ones you just need to cast some frost spells that take a nice chunk out of their health.

Haha, well I remember in 3 or 4 it used to happen all the time but some reason in this one it hasn't happened yet, i made a frost spell with the most damage i could and its been a no go :(

 

Is it possible to throw weapons in DR 5?

DR 5? No. Its a new feature in DR 6. Like the blood splattered screen (which I can't work lol *sigh*)

 

Have you tried enchanted weapons? Those do some criticals, usually with Goldbrand it sets everyone on fire for me, and the Ice Blade of the Monarch freezes them

(Ice Blade is from a mod, but I edited it to give it stats 1 or 2 points better than daedric claymore, lengthened the blade in blender, and boosted its frost enchantment to 45, so maybe not something you could use unless you know how lol)

I don't know about Shock though, I usually don't use it except for Finger of the Mountain when I don't feel like fighting :P
