Fallout 2 Mod

I'm not sure if this should be posted here, cause I'm not really requesting it, just looking for people who want to help/brainstorm. Well I see it as a 50/50 chance that it should either go here, or in 'New Vegas Mod Talk'. Oh well.....

 

 

Any way... Has anyone attempted a Fallout 2 total conversion mod yet? New Vegas is relatively... well... new, so I figured no one had yet. So what does everyone think? Should we do it? We could just wipe most of the Vanilla terrain and create the NCR!

 

 

I already have a mod coming out which adds locations west of the Mojave Outpost. It has the NCR (City), a Raider Camp, and Vault 15.

Anyone interested in the should look up on ModDB as there is one or two that are pretty far along with total conversions.

 

The most successful, except for the voice acting (personal opinion as a 14 year old can never voice a 45 year old well =P )

 

The mod is called Fallout 2161 they started back in Fallout 3 and have been working to remake both fallout 1 and 2 into the new games, they are focused on using New Vegas since its more like the originals in story and gameplay somewhat.

 

 

On another note me and several others are working on what started as a small project (but is now very large) to reimplement special encounters into the new games. The Project is called SER or Special Encounters Reborn.

 

We've already made quite a few resources for the mod and recieve messages and posts frequently from people with ideas for improvement and new encounters.

 

It will be some time before we release but I discuss with people all the time about things they'd want in the mod in the mod talk forum.
