Nexus website problem with Internet Explorer 11

Hi,

 

Almost every time I open any Nexus page in IE using multiple tabs, IE crashes - the page freezes and I get the message that IE has stopped responding. I get the same issue on my work PC so I don't think it is an issue with my PC. Anybody else have this/any solution? (ps no, I don't want to use Chrome/Firefox etc instead!!)

There are a number of known issues with IE10/11 here on the Nexus. Mostly because MS went much further than the other major browsers to strictly implement the HTML5 standard. So now when using IE, lots of "customary webcoding tricks" don't work properly.

 

Since you say you don't want to use another browser, I guess you're SOL.

 

(Although in a few months we'll all see how well "Edge" does! :laugh: )
