SteadyRi0t
Everything was working fine last night. I have multiple mods in use and all were running smoothly (except a few random "!" on some raiders whose guns hadn't properly been loaded). I turned on my computer today to play some Fallout and now it won't open. FOMMs "launch" gives me a "thinking" mouse but it does nothing, if I click it multiple times I get "an instance of Fallout is already running" (but it's not, I checked task manager). I tried launching from the start menu to find it doesn't exist there, which I assume is cause by me moving fallout to "C:\Fallout 3". I then tried opening the programs folder and using the launcher in there only to find it does nothing. I decided I would then try to reinstall Fallout, but when I went to uninstall it didn't work because I moved the fallout folder. The only thing it did was delete the Bethesda folder. I figure I could manually delete every single file in the folder and start from scratch but I was hoping someone here would have some better advice for me
prandiningrat
Moving Fallout3 folder makes the game wont start, because this path used in registry and checked when starting the game. reg key using this path is [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout3] . Move back your installation folder..or edit your path in reg key..the exclamation mark '!' caused by wrong meshes in your mods, and not related with installation folder.. SteadyRi0t
Well it worked fine for about a week after I moved the folder. I moved it because certain mods I was using requested that I do so. I will try moving it back though and seeing if that does the trick
