Ok I put a mod in the oblivion\Data dir. more specific Rensguardoverhaul.esp. I launch the game and start a new save and stuf... then I exit game and go into oblivion's Data directory and now Rensguardoverhaul is named the same but whit a .GHOST at the end and is now a GHOST file not an esp file why is that ?

Oh and by the way the mod didn't doesn't work properly could this be the cause ?

Wrye bash can add the .ghost to esp files in order to reduce the amount of esp files you have in the directory (because of the soft cap of I think 200 or 300). If they're imported or merged into the bashed patch it's fine to leave them ghosted. I haven't used that in a while but I don't think it should be ghosted, so you should activate it through wrye bash so it stays active.
