Weapon bounces and rotates

I am also having a similar issue. This is what happens:

 

When I have a 2 handed rifle-type weapon equipped and out, ready to shoot, two different actions can trigger an animation glitch;

 

1. entering VATS mode, selecting fire actions, and executing them. Upon execution of the first shot, the character must first spin the gun around in their hands much like Arnold Schwartzenegger in Terminator with that lever action on the bike. *spinnyspin* Blam!

 

2. open the console, and then close it again. upon the closing of the console, the rifle spins around just like above.

 

I am using the following animation mods:

 

Fallout Reanimated

Proper Rifle Carry

Associated animations with Pipboy Readius

One handed pistol anims - the gunslinger ones

 

And as I type this it just occurred to me that a proper way to diagnose this trouble would be to first remove the animation mods and see if it continues. I will do this and report back with my findings.

 

Till then, I would appreciate any insight anyone may have to offer. I have searched and searched and so far no one else seems to have this issue (that I can tell, anyhow).

Ok, upon removing all the custom animation meshes, and then adding them back, I have discovered an assorted number of them that didn't seem to affect anything at all; not sure which mod they came from but I left them out and things seem to be working fine. As my problem now seems to be solved I won't be delving into this much further unless someone pipes up and wants to know specifically what caused it.
