1datdude1 Posted May 3, 2015 Share Posted May 3, 2015 I have no clue what I did, but My fnv is crashing before the main menu loads. I have uninstalled all of my mods Gone to C:\Users\john\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV and deleted all of the files there. Then gone to steam and gone to steam locale files verify locale file cash. KnightRider3x Posted May 12, 2015 Share Posted May 12, 2015 Seems odd.. Try this: 1: Start steam.2: Go to you're games tab.3: Right click(On Falloutnv) > Properties > Disable Steam overlay. Try that. If that doesn't work. Try give me you're Game settings when you start the game.You know.. the Options tab at the little menu that pops up before actuel game loads.. IF that does not work. modder3434 Posted June 3, 2015 Share Posted June 3, 2015 perhaps run NV in compatibility mode (Windows XP Service Pack 3) and run as administrator, It worked for my game...its a hoop I jump thru every time I reinstall... but it may work here too.
