Midas Magic Spells of Aurum (Where Tiger? and Versions)

1. When I start quest Where Tiger? I don't have mark on my map, so I don't know where is that Oht Quam Oht Fraternity. I read somewhere that I must go there and then I can find Mahma. Can someone help me to find Oht Quam Oht Fraternity?

2, I have version 0.990. How can I upgrade it to 0.995 (is that the newest?)? I mean if I just delete this one and install new one, will I keep my saves? And should I first upgrade to o.992 then to 0.995 to get world of Light?

 

P.S. This is first mod I have downloaded (except official add-ons), so I don't know much about it, and I'm sorry if I have asked some stupid questions (I believe I had).

if you look into the Files tab, you will see that the current version is 0.995, and there is also the 0.995A patch there

download and install both (first 0.995, then 0.995A)

and yes, you should be able to keep all your saves, though i'm not sure if you'll keep all the spells that you've learned

 

as for Where Tiger?, the fraternity should be just across the yard in the Arcane University (if the Midas shop is to the right of the gate, the fraternity should be to the left)

 

one more thing, you can't just kill the tiger when you find it

you should probably read the book on spells, to find the one that you need (though it might be in the book where you get the quest, not sure, as i haven't done it in a long while)

now, i should mention that i haven't done the Midas Magic quests in a few months now, so i don't really remember all of it

Just one more question: How to patch it? Is it a simple overwrite?

but basically, some files should be overwritten (like the plugin) while there might be some new files (not sure about this)

 

like every mod in Oblivion, i have installed this as an OMOD, so i just made an update OMOD, and activated it after the normal OMOD, and it worked just fine

 

so just copy-paste the files, overwrite when asked, and this should work just fine (if you are manually installing this)

OK, thanks, but I have another problem. As you said before, I lost some spells. When I create spell, I go to ingredients and consume that spell (in this case Silver bullet). Before, I got the message (on 0.990) that is create spell, but now nothing happens. How to fix this?

i'm not sure i understand the problem.....

 

have you created the spell, and got the digestible item, but didn't get a pop-up??

or have you done what you need to create the spell, but didn't get a thing??

I found the solution, I have loaded previous save and now I have all spells and I can make new ones. Thanks again!
