aerialz
As the title says, I had the same problem with Neverwinter Nights 2 but was able to solve the problem by editing the ini files, unfortunately this doesn't work with DA. As soon as the game launches, the screen goes black and all you can see is a flickering game cursor. It is however possible to play the game in windowed mode but that's no proper solution for me. Any thoughts or ideas? Has anyone experienced the same problem? Win 7 x64 btw

Check for an update to your video drivers.Try re-running the "Configure" scan from the Splash Screen menu to verify that the game is detecting your kit accurately. aerialz
Did it EVER run properly for you in full-screen mode?It ran perfectly fine before I deinstalled it a few months ago. I just reinstalled the game and came up with this weird mouse flickering. In NWN 2 I just needed to disable the Hardware cursor in the corresponding ini file, so the solution should be quite similar I think. Drivers are all up to date, the kit is reconizing everything. Thandal
IIRC, in the "Options" menu (under "Controls", maybe?) there's a similar "Use Hardware Mouse" option.
