Faust870 Posted October 27, 2003 Posted October 27, 2003 Ok i dont get what happened...i think i got cursed or something, but my armor skill for all (light, medium, and heavy) have decreased to 0...so before i had an armor rating of 200, now i have an armor rating of 4...anyone know what to do? Ive tried a lot of things, like shrines and what not...HELP!!!
Marxist ßastard Posted October 27, 2003 Posted October 27, 2003 The most liely cause is the sword Fury that is avaliable in Kogoruhn. Obviously, if you still have it equipped, unequip it. If you don't have it equipped, then you have to patch the game, which would make the Drain Skill spells into Damage Skill spells and add Restore Skill spells to every shrine in the game. If you've already patched the game or the shrines still don't work, you'll have to either set each of the four skills back to their original levels using the console or train them back to what they were before. So let this be a lesson to all who read this... Don't use Fury.

DAMN IT TO HELL!!! lol...are there any potions that can fix this? or do i have to start over...i dont know how im supposed to kill that one guy on red mountain if i have a armor rating of like 5...grr!!! EDIT: Censory by me. Please don't swear on these forums. ;)
Marxist ßastard Posted October 28, 2003 Posted October 28, 2003 Nope, the only option is to re-train those skills. Look at it on the bright side, though... At least you get a couple of free levels. And since, by the 200 armor rating you stated, I draw that you're using heavy armor, it'll let you blow your Endurance sky high.

So even though my skill is like 5 for light armor, i can still get it back up to 100? Or will it just stop at what is supposed to be 100, which would be about 7 now...if that makes any sense to you at all lol
Marxist ßastard Posted October 28, 2003 Posted October 28, 2003 No, you can always get your Light Armor skill up to 100, even if you have advanced that skill well beyond 100 times. Hence why so many of the powergamers out there keep going to prison -- they lower their main skills so that they may re-train them and gain levels.

Marxist ßastard Posted October 28, 2003 Posted October 28, 2003 I believe that the skill will turn from red as soon as you train it once. However, if worst comes to worst, it'll be red until you reach level 98 in that skill.
