What mods will make Fallout 3 the following.......

 

 

More aggressive, more action paced, more faster and deadlier???? Just simply more fun! (I'm an online multiplayer addict...so I NEED my action) LOL

 

 

Makes VATS better??? For example (only mod I remember since not playing in a whole year) "Faster but dramatic VATS"

 

 

Make the game more "Adult Theme"???

 

 

Make the game more of a loot hunting game like World of Warcraft??? Example: More weapons and armors to be found.

 

 

Add and/or replace all sounds with better sounds???

 

 

Add and/or replace the music with better music?? And I don't mean the radio music. I mean in-game music. :-)

 

 

Make the characters look better???

 

 

Make the whole world look better?? Landscaping, weather etc etc

 

 

Also,

 

What are mods YOU recommend. That change the look and feel of the game? Examples...UI and PipBoy and dialogue etc etc.

for faster deadlier combat, and more items, i would recommend FWE

it's an overhaul, and i've seen so many people recommend it

it's the kind of thing you start using, and never go back :)

 

for making VATS better, i have no idea

HOWEVER, you should try DK Bullet Time (once you try bullet time, you'll NEVER use VATS again, or at least really not as often)

another mod that so many people would recommend, and for a good reason

 

for a more Adult Theme, that depends on how adult you would like the game to be

this could be something like a nude body mod (in which the Type 3 is probably your choice for a female, and Roberts for a male)

or you could go as far as mods like Animated Prostitution (mods that add sex and such to the game)

so this only depends on how far are you willing to go with this

 

for some better sounds, you might want to try Ambient Wasteland

this is an awesome mod, and the wasteland will sound so much better with it (and not so repetitive as well :biggrin:)

 

as for a little extra recommendation, that could fit with making the world look better, i would strongly and heartily recommend Fellout

the changes it makes make the world look so different, yet it doesn't make it seem like it's not the FO3 wasteland

it really makes the wasteland a much better looking place, but also a more dangerous place (the Fellout night are DARK!!!! not a good idea to go without nightvision)

if you need a good nightvision, you might want to check the Advanced Recon Gear mod

you asked for more looting

well, FWE adds plenty of items (at least as far as i recall)

you may also want to get 19th and 20th Century Weapons mod, which adds enough weapons to blow your mind to tiny bits (especially good if you like old weapons, like WWII weapons)

all of these weapons are realistic weapons, all from the mentioned period, and most (if not all) look great

 

you may also want to look at Earache42's mods

i like the xCalibr shop, it's quite good

and you may like Book Of Earache (though i don't know if it works so well with FWE, so you will have to check on this)

 

if you want more items to loot, and less gameplay changes, then you may want FOOK2 and not FWE (from what i know, FWE is more for enhancing the gameplay, while FOOK2 is more for new items, and it brings a giant load of those)

again, don't know if the two work together all too well (when i tried both, a few months ago, they didn't work together, but there may be a patch now)

 

if you want some item customization (an incredibly awesome mod, that was so good, the idea was introduced to Fallout: New Vegas as a part of the original game), you will really enjoy Antistar's WMK (or Weapon Mod Kits)

from what i know, it doesn't work on FWE items, but it works on FOOK2 items, so if you go with FOOK2, WMK is more than recommended (but i would use it regardless of using FOOK2 or not using it)

 

don't know about more armors that you can loot, but if you want some new armors that you can buy, you might like Antistar's Dragonskin Tactical Outfit mod, or Tumbajamba's Scavanger Armors

the first of the two places some armors into the game, but not on enemies, and also adds a shop

the second has only a shop (which has some weapons, armors and accessories like backpacks and such)

read about them more, if you want to

 

can't think of any more great item mods, but you could always search for them (it's really not so hard, since you could just browse the desired category)

 

as for finding mods in general, i would recommend that you go to the Top 100 page

browse the most endorsed of all time, for some of the best mods around here

and if you wanted adult content, just browse the adult only category

 

and if i could recommend two awesome modders, whose creations i adore, they will be Puce Moose and Firelady

both are amazing quest creators, and have some amazing and unique quest mods, that you may enjoy

so if you can trust me on this, i would suggest you to search them, and look at their amazing work

i would recommend you to read the second comment i wrote again, as you didn't understand a few things (or so it seems)

first of all, 19th and 20th Century Weapons has plenty of weapons (i can't really count how many there are, but there are more than enough)

and these aren't just WWII weapons

there are weapons that are very old, like from the second half of the 19th century, and it goes all the way to modern day weapons

so you could get an 1879 model shotgun (i think this was the year) and a brand new, high powered .50 calibr sniper rifle, and all the weapons in between

so it's not just WWII weapons, but these are just favorites of mine, so i mentioned this

as long as you like guns, you will find a weapon that fits you in that mod

 

as for armor, i wrote about several armor mods, but like i said, i don't know of too many, and i would suggest you to search for mods yourself, and see if you find something you like

but i did mention the Dragonskin Tactical Outfit mod, and the Scavanger Armors mod, that both add some amazing armors

 

as for xCalibr and BoE, as far as i know, they should work together, but i don't know, as i haven't tried it yet

 

and about FOOK and FWE, there may be a patch for the two, that i just don't know about

i haven't played FO3 in a long time now, so i don't know everything that happens in the modding scene

 

now, correct me if i am wrong, but you aren't looking for answers yourself, right??

i mean, there are plenty of questions that you could have answered yourself, if only you would search a bit yourself

if you won't start searching for the mods, or read about how to install and use them, you will just end up screwing your game completely, and not even knowing why

 

now, i don't mind answering questions, and helping when i can, but i can't be doing all the work for you

so start searching, read about the mods i recommended, or any other mod that you see and think you may like, download whatever you want to use, and play with them

but you are going to have to start doing your part as well, because if you don't, no one else will
