gep5
Is valenwood improved compatible with the sign of the dragon height maps? I know it's compatible with deserts of anequia but I don't know if it works with this as well. Thanks
danielj97
Well, on the "Under the sign of the Dragon - Tamriel Height Maps" page it says; __________________________________________________________________________________________________Compatibility=========================================== This is compatible with nearly all popular mods out there as BBC,UL,FCOM etc etc etc ... but not compatible with any mod (province mods) creating new exterior cells in the tamriel worldspace like for example Skyrim or Valenwood Improved. Elsweyr Anequina and TR_Stirk as well as all other province mods taking place in there own worldspace are fully compatible. Landscape LOD.... This will conflict with mods providing their own landscape lod meshes ( lod meshes for Elsweyr Anequina, TR_Stirk and UL (complete) are provided)..LOD Patches will be required ! this should not be used with any lod texture replacer...___________________________________________________________________________________________________ So, I presume it must? You could of course send 'onra' (the uploader), a message to check. Hope that helped, Daniel (: Edited January 1, 2011 by danielj97

David Brasher
No. it is not compatible. The two mods perform exactly the same function. You can chose one or the other. But I have tried them both and Valenwood Improved is vastly superior. It has dungeons and locations and things to do. Under the sign of the Dragon - Tamriel Height Maps is just a big empty forest that conflicts with Elsweyr Anequina by having missing landscape textures and pink land, and a big long landscape tear on the northern Valenwood/Cyrodiil border. (And yes, I am indeed talking about the Valenwood/Elswyr Anequina patch conflicting with Elsweyr Anequina.) It has a pretty forest though.
tizerist
Under the sign of the Dragon is just a big empty forest that conflicts with Elsweyr Anequina by having missing landscape textures and pink land, and a big long landscape tear on the northern Valenwood/Cyrodiil border. Those two are supposed to be totally compatible. I gave this a test drive before and all seemed well. Can you elaborate on that please? (And yes, I am indeed talking about the Valenwood/Elswyr Anequina patch conflicting with Elsweyr Anequina.) How so? I am running VI and EA together, with the compatibility patch. I can't see anything like that. Edited January 1, 2011 by tizerist
David Brasher
(A) Valenwood.esp is a mod by Under the Sign of the Dragon and I don't like it much. It comes in two versions: _____(1) Non-Elsweyr Anequina which is compatible with Elsweyr Anequina and has no bugs I have found. (Yes I said that right. The one which is non-Elsweyr Anequina compatable works just fine but is a big boring forest without any creatures, let alone NPCs and locations. _____(2) The Elsweyr Anequina compatible version which has a really pretty, but boring and empty forest, conflicts with Elsweyr Anequina. (Yes. I said that right. The "compatible" version conflicts because you get pink ground from missing landscape textures in the high pass from Valenwood to Elsweyr up above Dune, and there is a very long but thin landscape tear on the Cyrodiil/Valenwood Border (B) Valenwood Improved.esp seems like it is shaping up to be a great mod. It has lots of locations and NPCs and creatures and things. The only problem I have seen is all the object placement problems such as floating, sunken, or clipping trees and rocks. But it is an active WIP and I imagine they will get around to fixing those things. It seems to be fully compatible with Elsweyr Anequina and Cyrodiil if you use the English Anequina patch version. Deleted1848331User
If you use Valenwood Improved you could always either: -Install over UtSotD or-not install Valenwood entirely Just my 2 cents :P
