Importing .kf files

I'm attempting to create a new set of animations for the hand to hand system; because I'm new to animation I decided simply to alter the existing idle animation to start with. I've used Blender to do this and have followed the online tutorial at cs.elderscrolls for exporting character animations from Blender, but I'm not clear as to how I can import the animation into Oblivion. Any help would be appreciated.

Simply put your .kf file into the Data\meshes\characters\_male folder. If you've done everything right, it will work. There are many pitfalls though.

 

But don't work according to the tut you mention, it's outdated. No need for nifblend any more.

I highly recommend Adult Animation Tutorial For Noobs (although it seems to be a bit off topic, it's by far the best and most detailed animation tut I know) and How Fix Your Animation FAQ (to avoid the pitfalls I was talking about).
