The Celeron processor is not really suited for gaming. A better video card (the 9400GT is kind of weak too) will help. But the processor is going to bottleneck a good GPU (assuming your power supply can handle it)

post a "Dxdiag" report:

Run (XP) or Start (Vista or 7), type in "dxdiag" (without the quotes), save the report to a desktop text file (default). Copy and paste the results (the whole thing) here in your thread. (Put it in spoiler tags please)

Maybe a genius will have a solution

I'm afraid you can't update a computer like this.

Putting in a massive GTX 470 will not help.

You would also need a new processor, motherboard, power supply and new Ram which is basically a whole new computer.

The computer you have now can be used for browsing the internet, Word, Excel, Watching HD Movies, etc.

What you need is a new processor, I would recommend a i5 or i7, but they are expensive.

Then you should get another 1 GB of ram and a new graphic card + PSU.

It's not cheap, and it would almost be easier for you to buy a new computer, try to order one of those costum built computers, I am sure they can offer you a good computer for a good price.

his mainboard using LGA 775(maybe with 945 intel chipset),and cant upgrade to i5 or i7..I think he needs core2duo or quadcore cpu before upgrading GPU..or its time to build new PC..
