Lilith1968
A couple days ago I purchased the Ultimate Edition of Dragon Age Origins and I am having issues in the character creator. The eye color stays a deep dark brown/black color no matter where the slider is positioned. Even inserting a color mod doesn't affect it at all. How can I fix this issue? I also cannot get any of the mods to work. Ive tried using pineappletree's vibrant mod, khelzama's hair mod and a natural body mod with no success. Is this because it is the Ultimate edition and not anotehr version? Edited January 2, 2011 by Lilith1968

That works EXACTLY like any other version as far as mods are concerned. Check your "Graphics" settings in the "Options" menu. Although there are other possible reasons for this, the infamous "All-Blackeyes" Snydrome is known to be caused by setting it to "Low". If that's not it, the next place to look is some of the mods you listed. If you're going to use more than one mod that makes changes in the way the Character Creator functions, you have to merge their slider-settings tables into a single "chargenmorphcfg.xml" file. The game only reads one copy of it, otherwise it gets confused and might make "all hair white", or other unwanted effects. When you mention "Natural Bodies", do you mean the original, or the "All-In-One" version? NBaio requires an additional program, (DAO-Modmanager) both to install it, and to use it. For more on all these topics, see my mini-tutorial at the 2nd post here: "Using DA Mods for Dummies". Hope that helps, Happy (Modded) Gaming!
