VaanDiablo Posted January 2, 2011 Share Posted January 2, 2011 Yo. I'm V, and i'm just getting into modifying Oblivion and NV with some of my own models. But i've found a few problems: I don't know the specifics of size in sketchup, although i read somewhere that 100mm is roughly shoulder span, and that is what i've based all the models i have made, over the past while, on. So before i go any further with my model making i wanted to ask if there is a general size for making melee weapons in oblivion? e.g. Hilt: 40 mm length, 12 mm diameter, blah blah blah, blade/stick/mourning star, etc. length, diameter, space away from hilt/guard,pommel,etc. There is also the case of importing as *.dae files in blender, i have got "python 2.6.6", "daeImport1.1.1 and even "colladda_blender_0_1_539" and have tried all of them together and seperately, but i always have the same problem... It gives me errors about why it cannot open or import .dae's... :/ This one is agitiating, for i have all the necessary files, but i may lack the knowledge of where they need to be placed or installed, etc... i'm going to delete them all tomorrow and re-try, but before that i'm going to see if any of you people can help me with my dilema's...
