jonas66
I'm making a new clothing mod in Blender, involving some manipulations of an existing mesh from an FO3 mod. I've made all my changes, changed the texture paths to the correct ones, etc. I've done a mod or two for Oblivion but not for the FOs yet, but it seems like if it was Oblivion I would have had it working with what I've done so far. When I wear it in game my body disappears, and the outfit does not show up. Then, if I'm in 3rd person, I see a disembodied body or the outfit floating around the cell that I'm in when I move around. Any clues as to what I need to do? I've already re-imported/parented a new skeleton, but that didn't help.
Quetzlsacatanango
Make sure shadow map is ticked when you export.
jonas66
Ahh excellent, that worked perfectly, thank you. I guess I have one other question, though. Any tips on the head/body mismatch issue? I have some other mods that it hasn't been an issue, but this has wound up being pretty noticeable. Quetzlsacatanango
Open it in nifskope, on the skin part, make sure shader_type is set to shader_skin and on shader flags, tick window_environment_mapping.
jonas66
Cool. I actually fixed it on my own by removing the upperbody part of the nif and then pasting in the original upperbody nif. Appreciate the input.
