GamerBadger82
It's bugged me for the last few elder scrolls games that the interior lighting for buildings is permanently fixed on, regardless of time of day or NPC requirement for a fully lit room. The key scenario is a thief breaks into a house at 3am, everyone is asleep upstairs...but there's a giant fire roaring in the fireplace that looks like it's just been tended to, lit candles and lanterns all around the room and enough light for a blind man to read the fine print on a payday loan! The mod I would love to find/have made would have a low light mode for dwellings that does the following:firepits and places would have just low glowing embers (no flames)all candles would be extinguishedall lanterns would be unlitall wall torches extinguishedpreferably moonlight coming through windowsstretch goal exterior windows show no illumination from withinThis mode would be triggered if:all NPC's are asleepall NPC's are on a different floorthe building is currently empty (with the caveat of if you've just murdered the last person nothing should change for a period of time.) I know this mod won't affect the majority of players but for those trying to role play a thief it'd be a huge improvement to know if the house is quiet and dark or still populated with awake NPC's.
