Script help

ok so recently i have been toying around with the NV geck

i have never created a script before, although i have screwed around with some existing ones (only the values though) (yeah, i know that isnt really screwing around with them -.- )

and at the moment i am looking to create two different effects i can attatch to a some weapons

1. to cause an npc to flee on hit, i assume the confidence... thingie, would need to be screwed around with for that. and only for a limited time, say, 10 seconds ish.

2. another script to place an npc in that hostage position thingie.... (you know kneeling, hands behind back) when hit, and to remove aggresion, and stop them changing the animation (so they cant get up and bugger off)

buuuut

how would i add that into a script for a weapon..? :confused:

i havent actually created a tiny script before....... :down:

also this shouldnt really be here, but i have no idear how to create a new script, just how to edit existing ones :verymad:

This is actually a really good concept you are trying to create. It would have been nice if Bethesda actually wrote this into the game script, so that if I cripple an npc or shoot their weapon out of their hand, there would be a good chance that that npc would flee or give up, rather than continue attacking with an alternate weapon or picking up a fallen npc's weapon.

there is allready a mod a bit like that, called

Reactive people

 

i found it just after i posted this, but i still wannah be able to give the effects to weapons :laugh:
