Guest Tessera
Open your Windows Explorer and make sure that you aren't just automatically creating sub-folders under the "Data" folder during the unzipping process. If you see a bunch of folders in there that have the names of the original zipped mod files, then that's the problem. Look inside those folders and then move their contents over to the correct locations, otherwise they won't work. It's better to unzip your mods to a neutral location, then look at them and copy/paste their contents over to the appropriate Oblivion folders. Simply unzipping them directly into the Data folder can occasionally do more harm than good, especially in the case of bad mods. Setup an "Oblivion Mods" folder and unzip all of your future mods to there, then just copy over the ones you actually want to try out. This also makes it easier to keep track of which mods you do and do not already have. If you've already checked and double-checked these suggestions and you are POSITIVE that you've installed all of the mod files to their correct locations, then I'm not sure why you're having trouble. Good luck. 8)
