jonas66 Posted January 4, 2011 Share Posted January 4, 2011 I have this idea that I don't think I have either the animation or scripting skills to pull off. I think it would be cool to add a quest that involves finding several musicians and maybe their instruments to form a house band with the player character themselves, and then to perform in one of the casinos with a good stage like the Tops or the A.W., getting paid per gig. Some detailsBand would probably want a bassist (upright?), guitarist, drums and a pianist maybe. Player character could be the singer, or I suppose that you could even give a choice as to which part you'd take, and then find the other ones who are activated based on your choice. Once a week, play one or two songs that are activated by clicking on the microphone. Songs from the radio stations or updated, but I think it would be better if they were '50s style to fit with the Vegas atmosphere. If the player character was the singer, give the option of a few songs with male or female voices depending on player sex. Just an idea, but it seems like it would be fun. Unfortunately I don't have time for it, but I really think it's a unique and creative idea! I like it! Why don't you try it? The animations for the band playing are available. so the biggest issue would be scripting the quest.
