hideouscircus
So I've been trudging along in the GECK for the last calendar week now steady trying to get everything I want into my "Fear and Loathing in New Vegas" mod. I've invested 3 days straight (and counting) into the architecture of the mod and have spent the last two attempting to create a ghoul version of Raoul Duke and Doctor Gonzo as merchants in the mod, who sell alcohol/magazines and drugs/chems respectively. I have sucessfully added Duke and Gonzo to the mod, and, after much stumbling through, have managed to figure out how to set up a quest for the merchant dialogue, made my topics so on so forth, created a new container reference (in this example I used a functional cash register) and then linked it as the reference in the merchant container tab of my Raoul NPC. I added magazines and alcohol to the container and caps. Everything seems to work fine with the sole exception that there are NO items for sale when you look. He shows the caps I gave him, but nothing else. Even when I sell an item to him the item disappears off his barter menu instantly. And no the container is not set to respawn. any help would be appreciated! thanks guys

Quetzlsacatanango
Look on the AI Data tab for your vendor NPC. Make sure he has the services ticked that apply to him (alcohol, chems, books,etc..).
