cdcooley
That you can't pick up crates, beds, mannequins, etc to move them around your house (without a mod -- not even mannequins with a mod though)My Storage Helpers mod can move all of those items including mannequins. I'm pretty sure Jaxonz Positioner can too in more recent versions. But I agree that decorating your house and managing your inventory is a real pain without mods. alanovichromanov
One of the things I don't like is how they removed many of the Daedra you could summon in the previous games. Sure they added a couple of new ones in Dragonborn, but would it have been so hard to add scamps when falmer look pretty much the same as them, or Spider Daedra when there are giant spiders they could stick a human torso on, or Xivilai when they are just one hairstyle away from Dremora, or Golden Saints and Dark Seducers when they are basically retextured elves? Thank Sanguine the modding community put most of those creatures back in.
Relativelybest
That you have to f***ing leave the cell and re-enter after dropping an item to be able to place it somewhere and have it stay there Is that how you do it? I thought it was just generally impossible to get something to stay in one place. And on the subject of putting stuff in your house, one thing I miss from Oblivion was having large open barrels around. I liked just sticking a bunch of swords into them and use them as ad hoc weapon racks.

There are some items like that -- I haven't seen any of the standard barrels open, but I have seen larger ones open, and there are static chests that are open too. Unfortunately, you can't take them anywhere without the use of mods and they're extremely rare unless placed by mods. I know why you miss them though -- you can do some pretty cool stuff with them :P http://i.imgur.com/jQRYdE2.jpg
KanesGhost
In the vanilla Game: ` Quests you don't want being stuck in your Quest Logs due to passing too close to a Guard, etc...` Insane Animals attacking everything that moves...including yourself... within line of sight...they all have Rabies perhaps?` The Thieves Guild dude hunting you all over Riften trying to force Quest you.` Not being able to complete the MQ if you don't kill Paarthurnax...I believe it should have been an option to tell Delphine to stfu in the vanilla Game.` Lack of dialog options...being protagonist silent, they shouldn't be so limited.` SERANA and everything about her  ...from the ridiculous dialog and actions limitations on meeting her, her childlike dialog and whining, her idle behavior and combat, forced BFF status with her, etc... ...Love Dawnguard, can't stand Serana  Thank the lord for Mods and our wonderful Modding Community  Edited May 16, 2015 by KanesGhost
Suucat
I am the Dragonborn... no one cares, and stupid guards sometimes say "Got to thinking... maybe I'm the Dragonborn, and I just don't know it yet?"I am the listener of the DB... no one cares, even Maven threatens me to call the DB on me if i ever cross her... what?I am the Archmage of the Mages College of Winterhold... some very few people inside the college address me as such...I am the Thane of every city in Skyrim... stupid guards still tells me "Let me guess... someone stole your sweetroll.", "no Lollygagging"... what? sigh... for being the main character in the game i sure do feel like i am nobody... Relativelybest
Oh, I just remembered another one: Bags that are empty. even though the model clearly shows a full bag. Also, the fact that my character can apparently tell if a container is empty just by looking at it. I mean, I get it's a convenience but it also kinda breaks my immersion. At least make me check it once before flagging it as empty. Oh, and I find it kinda sad that many of the cities are tiny. Dawnstar looks like a fishing village even though it's supposed to be a major port town. Morthal and Falkreath are only marginally larger than Riverwood. They should have given all hold capitals dedicated world spaces and their own architectural traits, like in Oblivion. There are some items like that -- I haven't seen any of the standard barrels open, but I have seen larger ones open, and there are static chests that are open too. Unfortunately, you can't take them anywhere without the use of mods and they're extremely rare unless placed by mods. I know why you miss them though -- you can do some pretty cool stuff with them  It's specifically the open barrels I miss. I'm not sure they don't exist in Skyrim, but if they do they are very rare. I seem to recall them being very common in Oblivion, though. I dunno, something about tossing stuff into them felt gratifying. ` The Thieves Guild dude hunting you all over Riften trying to force Quest you. In all fairness, all you need to do is let him talk to you, then tab out without answering, and he'll go back to his stand and wait for you to go to him. He was really annoying until I figured that out, though. I am the Archmage of the Mages College of Winterhold... some very few people inside the college address me as such... For that matter, the whole mage college thing is pretty insane. If you can pass the speech check, you can enter the college without knowing any magic at all, which I suppose is a good thing since it's required by the main quest unless you luck out and find what you need on your own. However, it's pretty crazy that becoming archmage only requires you to know three low-level spells. Edited May 16, 2015 by Relativelybest

Relativelybest
Another peeve of mine: The way books are generated. Specifically, you might find a bunch of books including, say, The Real Barenziah volume 2 and then two copies of volume 4, but no volume 1 and 3. I seem to find duplicates every single time I come across a bookshelf - it's really obvious they were randomized. It's the sticking of his Quest in my Journal that used to irk me most...until a Mod to not trigger unwanted Quests and another that stops him from approaching in the first place  I'm pretty sure that doesn't happen if you just tab out, though: He actually has to finish his dialogue to trigger the quest. (Though you might still get an objective to talk to him and find out what he wants, I'm not sure.) Oh, and somehow I missed this: ` Not being able to complete the MQ if you don't kill Paarthurnax...I believe it should have been an option to tell Delphine to stfu in the vanilla Game. You absolutely don't have to kill him to complete the main quest. You just don't get any further assistance from the Blades, that's all.
