Sypron
Well, i'm back into morrowind. After 280+ hours of oblivion i realised the morrowind will alway be my favourite, be it mods or be it vanilla. So i'm wondering what happened while i was gone? Any really good mods that came out? I'm looking for more content stuff right now than major game overhauls, because i'm trying to keep my system clean untill i have finished my mod. I'm making a massive land mass quest mod with a few friends, bloodmoon size stuff and I wan't to keep every thing "clean" so there arn't so many conflicts while making the mod. I don't know how long you were gone but there are a few must haves that aren't really affecting gameplay: Morrowind FPS optimizer Morrowind Graphics Extender! Look at the MGE comparison screenshots here MGE has the option of getting infinite view distance. For info about that look here. I don't think you've ever used that yet because it has been released the 2nd of August this year. Let's not forget the exe optimizer (slightly improves performance on Intel PC's and reduces CTD's for everyone). It's somewhere on the page. The Unofficial Morrowind Patch can't hurt either. That's all I can think of right now. I don't know about real in game content.
Sypron
Thanks for the help, but all of those things are the type of stuff i'm trying to avoid. I don't like the idea of things that run as applications, like mge and the FPS optimizer. Looking for content.
Povuholo
Thanks for the help, but all of those things are the type of stuff i'm trying to avoid. I don't like the idea of things that run as applications, like mge and the FPS optimizer. Looking for content. FPS optimizer has to be run in the background yes, but MGE doesn't. You have to run it once to choose your settings and after that you can play Morrowind without any MGE application active. Content... I don't know about any NEW content, but The Cult of the Clouds and the Illuminated Order mods are two of my favorites. Today I'm starting an evil mage for Morrowind, and one of the mods I downloaded is called Infernal Contract in which you sell your soul at the cost of being hunted down by demons, with a quest to sell your soul and to get it back (or at least make the demons stop hunting you down) If you like building pillow forts, you might be interested in our (Me and Marxist ßastard) Hospital Pillow mod, which adds pillows that have collision. The Planet Elder Scrolls Hall Of Fame should offer some nice mods too.
