Cauldron Borrn
Hi all, returning to the world of fallout after a lengthy abscence I am unable to load up any mods for the game for some reason, using fomm and zip files.I get an error message that these files are invalid for some reason. I cannot get them into the directory for some reason, although I might add I am seeing some DLC for fallout 3 there. I am sure its a simple solution and I am missing something basic, can anyone assist?
bben46
Are you trying to put the zipped files directly into the data folder without extracting them first?

Cauldron Borrn
Guys, still looking for a solution to this issue!, the only mod I have is the package for the pistol and armor which i got with the game. Zeta is actually showing up on the game data files list and in fomm.Damned frustrating when i don't have this issue with Fallout 3.
blove
Are you looking and unzipping in the right data directory? Are you using the latest FOMM and choosing Fallout New Vegas when you open it?
bben46
Is your problem with Fallout3 or NewVegas. The first post looks like Fallout3. But then in #4 Damned frustrating when i don't have this issue with Fallout 3. New Vegas requires Steam, and the New Vegas data folder is buried deep inside the steam folder. Steam\Steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\data If you don't have steam, then you have an illegal copy and we cannot help you on this site.
