GECK Protectron Pod help?

Hi all, I am a super GECK noob and was wondering if some of you more knowledgeable modders could help.

I'm trying to create a Protectron companion which is initially turned off inside his pod. Via a terminal, I should be able to open the pod and at the same time activate the Protectron but I would also like the Protectron to be able to return to his pod and deactivate himself, closing the pod. How would I go about doing this? Googling it came up with some results but they were too vague.

Also, what is the best way to create dialog for said Protectron? I found that there is a condition called GetIsVoiceType but not sure what effect it has.

EDIT: When I place the Protectron into the pod and start up the game, the Protectron is actually not exactly where I placed it, so it's stuck in the pod's model :/
