Zakaroo
Hey,I've been playing Fallout 3 for about a year and a half - beat it half a year ago - and I just stumbled across FO3: WE while modding Oblivion and Morrowind. From the promo video, this is Fallout done RIGHT. So I loaded the two parts of the file into FOmod (with FOSE installed) and installed them. I also have DarNified UI, so I installed the crossover patch as well as the 6.03 patch for Wanderer's Edition itself. In terms of other mods, I only have one .esp that raises the level cap to level 99. I have FO3Edit installed and a merged patch has been made. Here is the list of mods the way I have them. It is ordered in the way that the Wanderer's Edition readme says to, but it doesn't get to the menu screen. During the Bethesda Softworks vid, the first one that can be skipped, it cuts out, saying "Windows has experienced an error". I have Fallout 3 installed to a Games folder inside of my user folder, and I am running Win7 64-bit. I haven't had any major problems with Fallout 3 before. One more thing: it says that the "Alternate Travel.esp" is marked as a .esm file in the file header, but the extension is still .esp. nisen
I wouldnt know why its says alternate travel is marked an esm, but looks like you'd get issues activating both FWE restore tracer esp's. You can only use one at a time, but the other still gets added unchecked (& is meant to stay unchecked) ive not read up on the 'crossover patch' for DarN with FWE, but you could first try the two mods without it. personally id just uninstall FWE, Max level, DarN and the patch, then reinstall in that order, but leave out the Darn patch and leave out the merged patch, the run BOSS to decide your load order. Zakaroo
Thank you. I think it might have been the restore tracers - I reinstalled FWE a few times, but those both kept showing up on the list, no matter what one I chose. Thanks for the help! It appears to run well without the patches.
