Balanced Companion Weapons

Just wondering if I would be wasting my time if I released this mod after completion.

 

What I am doing is making every weapon (excluding grenades and mines) in FNV and its DLC's balanced to a certain degree for my companions.

 

The reason behind this is that I like to have 3+ companions and they are always too string with the weapons I give them.

 

I am duplicating every weapon (3 times) and scaling them to a certain DPS. The DPS scaling is: Laser Rifle's DPS (67), 1/2 LR DPS (33) and 1/4 LR DPS (16). This makes it funner (IMO) with more companions as you can finally get some more kills.

 

ALSO:

 

- Weapons are chambered in companion ammunition

- Each weapon has their health set to 9999

- Each weapon has their value set to 1 (to stop the financial advantage of selling them)

- Magazines for weapons such as the Minigun and Gatling Laser have been reduced from 240 to 80

- I will make the weapons for the companions playable so they can be removed from their inventory (might make this a separate esp)

- Companions will be given 500 companion ammunition instead of the default amount

 

EDIT: I should have also added that this mod will NOT affect the games default weapons.

 

UPDATE: Completed BCW for the base game, adding 378 weapons for the companions to use.
