Bored Scotsman
Ever since I installed my new video card, the dialogue and quest windows in the Construction Set(for both Oblivion and Morrowind) have been so large they go off the screen and I can't see some of the functions. Resizing doesn't work, and I've tried other ways to fix the problem, but nothing helps! Any advice on how to fix this would be appreciated. Guest Tessera
Try increasing your screen resolution in Windows' display control panel. This should "shrink" everything down a bit on your screen and allow more of the interface to be displayed. You can always switch it back again, after you're done using the CS. If you've already tried this to no avail, then I'm not sure what the problem is.
Abramul
Where does it store the settings for the CSs? It might be determined there. I seem to recall Oblivion's being in the same folder as oblivion.ini...
Povuholo
Where does it store the settings for the CSs? It might be determined there. I seem to recall Oblivion's being in the same folder as oblivion.ini...Yup. It's called ConstructionSet.ini You can change some stuff there like:Quest Window W=1020 Quest Window H=729 These are my settings when I'm using the resolution 1024x768. So the W (Width) and H (height) should be slightly smaller than your current resolution. Or if you are not using the largest possible resolution, increase the size like Tessera already said since that should fix it too.
Bored Scotsman
Increasing the resolution did help, but before I knew I had accepted the settings and forgot my old resolution! Ah well, at least this one doesn't totally mess up my screen like some of the others.
