hajaflaba Posted November 7, 2006 Share Posted November 7, 2006 I have recently started the fighter`s guild quest "A Rat Problem" and I am having some difficulties. I have finished the quest without error up to the point where you have to talk to Arvena Thelas and tell her that Quill-Weave is either guilty or innocent. I decided first to tell her the truth and say that she was guilty, and the dialogue went fine until she was saying how she could teach me "a thing or two about talking to people." At this point the game freezes and crashes to desktop. I then decided to try, among other things, to tell her that Quill-Weave was innocent, and the game continued on as normal and I got my leveled gold and so on. Happy that I got it to work after many hours of trying other things (such as a stuck animation fixer, which didn`t help), I ran off to Quill-Weave to tell her the good news and get my acobatics training. Once it got to the point of her saying that she could teach me to "be quick on my feet", the game once again froze, to my great dismay. I figured that the freezing must have something to do with the adding of the training box to the conversation window, but I`m not sure how to fix this, or really, what is even causing this.
