ChrisLav7
Hello, None of my mods seem to be popping up in FOMM. I don't know why this would be. I tried using the package manager but they still won't pop up. Also I have to my graphics turned to "Ultra" but they still seem to be kinda... sub par. They look worse then fallout 3 I think. Why would this be? Is there a good mod out there that enhances the graphics, possibly adds some shadows? Thanks a lot guys. Christian
WastelandAssassin
have you installed FOMM properly??and are you sure that you have properly installed the mods as well??if you have done both, i don't think there is a reason why your plugins won't show in FOMM....... Well, that's actually a good question. The mod I am wanting to use is FOOK (I used it in F03). I downloaded fook to the desktop and then put those files into my Data folder. This is correct right? As for FOOM it was the .exe file. I just double clicked and it installed itself. This is also correct right? Also isn't there a ArchiveInvalidation or something I need to change like in FO3?? thank you =D
WastelandAssassin
well, it sounds like you did this correctly and yes, you do need to use Archive Invalidation (choose whatever method you want to use, as there are plenty of them) what i would recommend you to do, is open your new vegas folder, and look inside the Data folderif you have done everything correctly, you should see the plugins thereand if this was done, and you still can't see them, then something is off...... when you open up FOMM, does it ask you which Fallout you would like to open??i don't know if this is for the latest version, but the FOMM that i have works for both Fallout games, so it asks thisif it does ask you this, make sure you choose New Vegas, not Fallout 3 also, i don't recall the install wizard of FOMM, as i installed it a long time ago, but make sure that you install it to the correct place, because i think it needs to be where your Fallout game iscan't really remember if it's true, but it's worth checking

I see FOOK_New_Vegas. Also FOMM wizard wants to install to C->ProgramFiles->GeMM. I don't know what that means but thats where it wants to go..Any ideas? WastelandAssassin
plugins are esp or esm type filesso anything with the extension of esp or esm is a plugin as for FOMM, the GeMM folder needs to be at the same location as your Fallout New Vegas folder (or so it is for me)i think that if you do it like this, it will work

What is this? None of the files from nexus seem to be coming with the plugins. Maybe Fook doesn't use a plugin?
WastelandAssassin
a replacer mod doesn't use a pluginbut any other mod has to use a pluginand since FOOK is an overhaul, it must have a pluginso what this means is that you didn't install it to the right place if you still have the file that you have downloaded from here, check inside of ityou will see that it has at least one plugin, and probably more than one also, check that you followed the installation instructions
