Qessanea
I have just installed the Toolset, so I can design head morphs. I have a whole set of hairstyles and hair tints, yet some of the hair colour tints won't seem to work with some of the hairstyles in the Toolset (the hair just turns bright blue with green highlights). They do, however, all work perfectly within the in-game Character Creator, and have done for months. The original hairstyles, the tucked versions and LOTC's HF will work with the colours, but others - such as Don't Worry Be Hairy, and others in Kzelsama's More Hairstyles - will not. I've tried copying the compiled chargenmorph to various toolset related folders, to no avail. I have read through the wiki tutorials, but can't make sense of them. Please help! freddydak
Hi Qessanea! As far as I know there is no other possibility to see the 'correct' hair color in the Toolset. Only thing you could do is using a similar hairstyle that shows the color properly and as the last step you use the hairstyle you want and save / post to local it. Hey, as long as it works ingame, it's fine ;) I have no experience in 'creating' hairstyles, so I can't really explain 'why' it doesn't work in the toolset ;) Have fun, Frederic
Thandal
Custom hair (and eye) colours often appear as garish blue or green in the Toolset, but work correctly in-game. Try it! Wow! Didn't realize that I'd left my reply in edit mode that long while I did other stuff. The correct (and more complete) answer had already appeared before I got back to hit "Post"! )
DarkeWolf
And this is why the toolset has earned the nickname of ToolCrap. No, its an issue with the toolset and the way that its trying to interpret the models. Havent come across a modder's fix for the issue, and bioware has shown NO interest in updating the toolcrap to 1.2
Qessanea
Thank-you very much for responding quickly  , Frederic, Thandal and Darkewolf. I've never had much to do with computers other than playing the games and I was concerned I was overlooking something really obvious (and irritating others in the process by asking). Ha! Never used these emoticons either.
