Ezekiel81
There is something wrong with the way the ground is displayed in the outside world. Parts of the ground have no textures and show a blur of green and brown. Also, on the parts with textures properly shown, there is no blurring between soil and grass but a clean line separates them which is unrealistic.I am using Windows 7 but I don't think that is the problem. Can anyone help? Any help is appreciated.
bben46
Try this fix. It's for something a little different, but it may helpPurple ground with repeating tiny maps of the Imperial City This is caused by corrupted shaders. Here is a link to replace them without having to reinstallhttp://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20348 Thanks to Qwaxalot for this tip
Ezekiel81
Hi, Thanks for the suggestion but it didn't work. The ground I'm talking about is outside of imperial city ie. woods.
bben46
What mods are you using? How to post a Load order list article http://www.tesnexus.com/articles/article.php?id=295If its a long list, it's best to enclose it in a Spoiler tag - click on 'Other styles' just above the text entry box to find it. Ezekiel81
Before I used any mod, I already had the problem. In addition to the mods below, I also added QTP3 Redimized. I thought using QTP3 Redimized might solve the problem but it didn't. Ezekiel81
Hey Bben46, are you still going to help me? I waiting for your reply. Really hope you can help me out here. Thanks.
bben46
Can you show a pic of your problem? If it is in the vanilla (unmodded) game, then it may be a graphics card problem. What is your graphics card? - All laptops, and many inexpensive off the shelf computers use an integrated graphics subsystem that may not be able to handle all of the features needed to play a game such as Oblivion - even new ones. If you have a problem with the vanilla game, throwing mods at it will not make it better and will usually make it worse.
Ezekiel81
I pressed alt+prtscn but couldn't take a screenshot. I'm using an AMD Phenom II X6 and Sapphire 5770 Vapor X edition. I have this problem in the vanilla game.
