Aean24
When I attempt to load RaceCompatibility.ecm into the Skyrim Creation Kit I receive an error followed by a crash. The error reads: "Assert File ..\TES Shared\misc\BGSLocalizedString.ccp Line: 2871LOCALIZATION: Error opening or reading strings file." When I click through it I get an error sayings "Failed to allocate entry array." at the same location followed by a null pointer error which crashes the kit. I have already tried changing the SResourceArchiveList2 as suggested by other forum posts. Additionally, my SkyrimEditor.ini did not have a bAllowMultipleMasterLoads by default but adding it and setting it equal to 1 does not help anything either. I'm pretty much out of ideas at this point, can anyone help?
DrNewcenstein
My brother had the same error with his yesterday: Double-check your spelling - Make sure you have Hearthfires.bsa in your Archive list, and not Heartfires.bsa
Aean24
My spelling was not wrong, but I did find a solution to my problem. Since I couldn't find the solution anywhere online I figured I would post it here. Some mods are required as dependencies for other mods, if you are having an issue with one of those mods you need to add it to SResourceArchiveList2 just ilke you would for Dawnguard or HearthFires. To find what exactly you need to do open the folder where expansions and mods are and add the file with the same extension as other files in the list to your list. I hope this helps anyone in the future who has this problem!
