Stuck with a permanent item enchant.....need help!

Hi,

 

I just noticed a little while ago that my character is stuck with 3x stacks of the same item enchant ( the Enclave Helm enchant and Col. Autumn's coat enchant )

and have not found a way to reset it.

At one point, while working on a mod, I must have forgotten to un-equip the gear using those enchants and when loading the game with the mod re-named ( after I was done editing the mod in the G.E.C.K ) the enchants got stuck on my character's effect list.

I know I should have unequipped all items that are part of the mod I renamed, and then saved the game before exiting the game to work on the mod, but just forgot to do so.

Is there a way to remove the effects from my effect list?

There must be a console command to do this ( well I hope at least ) but problem is I have no idea what the command would be, as I could not find one under a list of commands on the Fallout wiki.

Although I did see one labaled "RemoveSpell" but I would have to know the ID and the way the entire command is typed in.

Please could someone who knows more, help me?

I would highly appreciate it and thank you in advance!

 

P.S: And I loaded the saved game with every mod I run turned off and the enchant effects are still present.

hmm yeah here now a few months later i come across this post because i have a magazine effect that will not expire. how do you remove effects?

to alter any skill points (or SPECIAL), in this case reduce, go into console and type "player.modav skill name -#" (adding points would omit the minus sign).

 

eg:

 

player.modav lockpick -10
