Unco283
Okay, recently I have been getting into the New Vegas modding thing and I came across FOMM and it worked pretty good. I am using a few mods now but now I can't start FOMM from some random error. I have not installed any new mods since the last time it was working. This is the error code I get every time I start the program. Description: Stopped working Problem signature: Problem Event Name: CLR20r3 Problem Signature 01: fomm.exe Problem Signature 02: 0.13.21.0 Problem Signature 03: 4cedecd1 Problem Signature 04: mscorlib Problem Signature 05: 2.0.0.0 Problem Signature 06: 4bebd50b Problem Signature 07: 344b Problem Signature 08: 119 Problem Signature 09: System.IO.DirectoryNotFound OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1 Locale ID: 3081 If anyone could help me fix this I would be very thankful, some of the mods I use require this program to work. loilhart
System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path 'E:\Game Patches, Mods and Fixes\Fallout New Vegas Mods'.Its not finding the folder with your mods in it. so im guessing theres some settings changed somewhere or maybe you need to run as admin? havent used fomm a lot but you could also try googling the error event code CLR20r3...which is caused by missing directorys or not finding them. *shrugs*

blove
On the right hand side of the FOMM main window choose Settings then the Fallout: New Vegas tab. You can change the mod directory there.
cl666
Hi i dont know if is the same error but i think this migth be the solution: Erase every folder into the games folder and try starting FOMM again. It worked for me at least. I'm sorry if i dont explain myself good enought but i dont speak english so well...
VaultBoyPipBoy
Hey guys, I need help with my FOMM. I tried to uninstall/reinstall all my mods because i just got the dlc after already having mods installed. So I've been trying to uninstall everything and as i was reinstalling them, my FOMM started acting up saying that it couldn't find the path. But that it doesn't make any sense because this happened after I already installed a couple of mods first and i didn't touch anything that would possibly break it. So I'm at a lost. And so this is my FOMM crash dump. OS version: Microsoft Windows NT 6.2.9200.0 System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Fomm.SettingsForm.RemoveShellExtension(String key) at Fomm.SettingsForm.SaveGeneralSettings() at Fomm.SettingsForm.butOK_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mevent) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ButtonBase.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) Thank you
