I'm new, need help.

HI! I'm a new user and I need a bit of help, so, I got this mod, Firefly mercs, for Oblivion, but i need help, it came with no BSA files, only DDS files, and because of that (i guess) the new and unique armors only show up as error signs! please help, because if i learn how to fix this, i can get a whole load of other mods, like the hammerfell and valenwood mods to work.

Ok, figured it out, a user pointed me to OBMM on chat... I got it to load the new stuff.

The best place to ask Oblivion questions is in the Oblivion forums http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?c=91,243,248,570 where you will probably find your question already answered. We discourage tech help in chat. Because begging for help in the chat monopolizes chat and disrupts the other conversions that are going on. Then, the probability of the anyone on chat at that moment actually knowing exactly what you need is very low. People trying to get technical answers in chat will tend to get frustrated and lash out because they are not getting the help they think they deserve.

 

Often, I have long technical explanations that will just not work on chat, but can easily be linked and modified for a specific problem using the forums that were designed specifically for this kind of thing.
