Zaldir
Using a staff will increase your Enchanting skill:https://twitter.com/#!/DCDeacon/status/127044826104475648So if someone is using a staff all the time, he will be a master in enchanting items? That does not make a lot of sense.I think it means that staffs will give you a boost, like +5 or +10 in enchanting. ;)
Apache1649
You should change "zombies" to "draughr", I believe.Actually, if you played any of the other games, there are indeed zombies. Of the variations zombie, headless zombie, dread zombie, and if in SI, failed experiments

I still am going with this since it seems pretty clear to me.

Like swords are one-handed, battle axes are 2 hand, bows are archery... It makes sense that it would increase enchanting, just like how using scrolls in oblivion allowed you to use more effects when making spells
Cyberote
Draugr aren't quite zombies either. They're somewhere between zombies and skeletons. I hear they were once cannibalistic Nords who, in death, were forced to stay on Nirn as one of these creatures. They also have the power to do dragon shouts I believe. Zaldir
Ah, didn't read the question. :PWell, in that case... uhm... cool? ;D Draugr is Norse Mythology's answer to zombies, ghosts or skeletons. (Original meaning is ghosts) ;) Edited October 20, 2011 by Zaldiir
AltreU
Has it been confirmed whether or not you can use a staff as a melee weapon if it's not enchanted or are there going to be normal staves in the game at all?

Don't think so, if you have a staff it will use its spell. Maybe if the enchantment runs out you'll switch to bashing dragons on the head with your wooden stick. AltreU
I've always liked the idea of busting some spinal cords and possibly breaking some ribs with staves.
