Go down to Midas' basement, step through the astral portal, run straight across the plateau to the edge, and look out in the distance. You will see a small floating island. Get there and you will find astral beacon caps on the ground. Figure out how to break the crystals and go to the astral plane, and you will find more of them. Oh, and getting to the small island requires a super jump or a levitation spell. I've never been able to make the jump, so I have always waited until I can cast levitation.
