teheverythingshow
So, i haven't played Fallout: New Vegas for about 3 or 4 days. I went on newvegasnexus saw an update for wasteland defense and I wanted to update. When I opened my FOMM it kept telling me to unistall all my mods. So this happens to me quite often. So I did, I then installed them all again. I launched NVSE and then it said: FalloutNV is not working. I then deactivided all the mods and activited the ones i really neeeded. Then it worked fine. When I was pressing tab though it just showed my arm!? I don't have a pipboy! It doesn't make a noise it doesn't do anyhting! Just no PIPBOY 3000! I can't do anything about it. I unistalled New Vegas and installed it again. I went to get just a pipboy mod maybe making that work. Still nothing! I had an older safe and when i went on it, i had my pibboy working fine. But that was like 8 hours earlier. (I rely on autosave and quicksave, which sucks a bunch!). Now I am getting really peowed over this! Someone PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME!!!! BTW: I also installed the Pipboy Radius. And when it kept crashing. I installed only a few mods. and then played one of them was not the pipboy radius. I guess i quicksaved to. and auto saved :S So that sucks. Then I added the rest of my mods in and it didn't crash anymore. Just now i don't have a pipboy. Which sucks a big load! fatherestaban
I had the same problem awhile back and I'm sorry to say that I haven't found any method of recovering the save file. The Pipboy Readius mod really doesn't like it when you remove the mod or deactivate it improperly. It may not be much consolation but you should consider yourself lucky that you had an older save file that still works. I'm the sort who only uses one save file + auto and quick save and I wasn't able to salvage any of my save game.
