Help installing mods

Hi i need help installing 2 mods: New Vegas bounties and detailed normals I extracted both them with 7zip to Data folder and they turned into folders "for detailed normals dragged textures and meshes folder into data" . Previously i had downloaded a mod called companions when i extracted it turned into a .esm file and was recongised by mod manager but these two mods aren't being picked up and I am guessing its to do with them being folders and .esm files.

Help please

Thank you

All you need to do for Bounties mod and more than likely with the other is to

1.) Have the file you downloaded (do not extract the .rar)

1a.) Open FOMM

2.) Select the Button "Package Manager" (2nd button on the right hand side.)

2a.) A second menu box will pop open. Select the button "Add FOMod" (Not the Drop down arrow, just press the button)

3.) When the browser box appears select the file you downloaded (the .rar.)

3a.) You will then see the mod appear in the 'Mod List' on the right hand side of the Package Manager Window.

4.) Simply Highlight the mod by clicking on it, and then press Activate. An Install meter will pop up. Let it install it and your done.

These steps should more than likely work with the other mod.

Hope this helps

For New Vegas Bounties copy NewVegasBounties.esp and the meshes, sound, and textures folders in to your data folder then activate the NewVegasBounties.esp plugin.

Detailed Normals does not have a plugin to activate. All you have to do is copy the meshes and texture folders in to your data folder.

Hi!

For detailed normals it is replacing normalmaps around the world so u need to download fallout mod manager and use it to activate archive invalidation invalidated.

I am gonna recommend that u go and package the mods into fomod and use the mod manager to install em cause youl be glad in the long run that way.
