sir paddles
So, I felt like jumping back into Oblivion after about a two year absence, and am amazed at the new modding scene. The first thing to really catch my attention were the mods pertaining to filling out the map around Cyrodil. Especially the land from Morrowind. I'm super excited to download these mods, but am a bit confused. I feel like I should use this mod, but I'm not sure if it's the way to go for having towns and npcs. So I guess my question is, what do you guys do for the best, most functional, lore accurate map and cities. While I'm at it, what's good for environment and city overhauls? Edit: I suppose knowing the best way to install them now would be good to know also. :V Edited January 10, 2011 by sir paddles
tizerist
I'm also looking to flesh out the whole map.At the moment the best combination would appear to be Extended map Elsweyr AnequinaElsweyr Aneqiuna expansions (5 - 6 that I know of)Valenwood ImprovedElsweyr Anequina - Valenwood Improved patch Existing land Unique Landscapes OMODBetter cities (I personally removed this for FPS reasons, but its highly admired generally)Various patches I hope very much that Sign Of The Dragon will eventually be compatible with these extended map mods one day, but who knows.Someone said that they got all three running together with Land Magic, but this didn't work for me.Pretty much ANY other extra land mods will not be compatible with EA + VI. But its the best combination.
