Newbie modder; need a few tech tips...

Hey everyone! I've been lurking around Nexus for some time, but this is my first time posting!

I've been playing heavily modded Skyrim, F3 and F:NV for some time, but I think it's time for me to start making some of my own mods. I have a youtube channel where I do Let's Plays of those games, so I don't particularly want to have an untouched install of New Vegas to plug the G.E.C.K. into. o here's my questions:

1) I AM assuming you need to have an un-modded install of New Vegas if you want to start making mods yourself, correct?

2) I'm planning on doing my modding on a seperate computer, (a Surface Pro 2), and then transferring the mods over to my main gaming PC. Is that possible?

3) If that IS possible, how would I go about transferring the mods over to my "main" game on the gaming PC?

The mods I would like to start making are simple NPC's, companions and buildings/homes to use in my Let's Plays. Again, since my "main" game is heavily modded, I would like to keep it that way and create the mods on a secondary PC and transfer said mods over to the "main" PC.

Thanks for any help, can't wait to start making my own mods!

1) you can make mods on a modded install of nv or skyrim, might be a bit messier as you probably have lots of loose files there and might be confusing but as long as you keep it organized it should be ok, i make mods on my heavily modded skyrim without any problems.

2) totally posible, just as you publish them here you can transfer them to your other pc, but why not do it directly on your gaming pc, probably it's faster right?

if you need to test your mod in a clean save, just temporally disable mods, test and enable them again, but generally you can test with mods, and that way you also test compatibility with other mods, performance impact (compared to how it behaves when you play normally), etc.

3) no need, if you still want to do it another one then it's basically copying files over, same files you would upload here, if the mods are simple enough it would be just the .esp file.

wireless blue tooth, what model do you have for the tablet, does it have wi-fi too, does it have screen mirror capability?

you need to have the android version of steam installed on the tablet, I have it installed on my phone, you need files that can access things tablets don't allow that steam does.

can it be done...? yes.

but this depends on your answer here.
