FallenHeroX
i know full well there are 3 multiplayer mods already but so far they all fail or died. options should include pvp options for the ic arena. synced equiped gear for players and animations (thats means if you equip something the others will see it). synced quest depending upon whos hosting it would switch to the host quest unless they already beat the main quest. mod support (if you have the same exact mod you should be able to both see it). obse support (thats oblivion script extender in case ya dont know). direct ip support so no port forwarding is required. accurate player markers (that way you always know were your pals are). in game chat function (so you can talk to your pals). spell support. well thats pretty much all i can think of at the moment
Deleted1848331User
What you want sounds pretty much exactly like an MMO, might as well go play something such as WoW, as Oblivion probably can't go online, if you've seen those mods, they're really just some copy and pasted photoshopery. The videos, I mean. If you didn't notice in some of them, the animations didn't play.
Pronam
It's been 5 years and many attempts further. It doesn't work and probably will never unless someone's been working on it for a long while already and would suddenly pop out. Then it'd be questionable if it'd be allowed by bethesda as many directly change the main files, which is basically now allowed. There are hunderds of games that already support online gaming, I never understood why a game that's made to be for single player and would have billions of flaws if being made into a multi player makeover would be of any value and competitive to the already existing mmo/coop games. Bobbobing
All attempts at making a multiplayer mod failed for a reason because it´s pretty damn hard to make... The best you could hope for is if they add in some form of multiplayer in Skyrim...
bben46
The gambryo engine used to make Oblivion (and Fallou3 & New Vegas) does not have the necessary support needed for for the features you are requesting. To make this you would have to remake the engine itself to have the features needed. It would take a team of professional developers several years to remake the engine, then remake the game. Skyrim will be out in November, and it is supposed to use a new engine. Maybe it will have some of the features you want. (don't hold your breath) :whistling: Personally, I think making Oblivion into an multi player or co-op game would be a waste of programming talent. The story, the world and all quests are oriented tward single player. Making an entirely new game would make much more sense.
