"The Dragonborns are the ones choosen by the gods" Wait a minute if Alduin is Akatosh and Alduin destroyed a world before Nirn's then why is there another dragonborn when the Dragon Break should repeat (I think that is the name of the apocalypse of Nirn.) http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Pocket_Guide_to_the_Empire,_1st_Edition/Preface Martin wasn't the True Dragonborn that was fortold that makes more sense.
