pfrank Posted January 12, 2011 Share Posted January 12, 2011 Hello everyone, This is my real first foray into asking about finding or making mods in a game but I was curious about this. I like playing with the 360 controller over the keyboard and mouse as I can use my HDTV in my living room as a monitor to play on. Mouses don't work as well on couches. In my playing, I've discovered a few mods that I've used (FOOK new vegas and HUD Extended under NVSE) I was able to use the provided keyboard functions for those mods. My question on my mind is could I make a mod that would allow me to map a usable quicksave/load key binding that I could use while playing with a controller that I could tap on the wireless keyboard next to me. Better still, saying that is possible, could you then go so far to made a mod that would let you have the entire bindings of both the controller and keyboard. I think this would be an interesting look on functionality as you could bind less relevant keys off the controller(such as camera) and move preferred bindings to it. Any ideas on where to start?
